To summon is to “bring to the surface (a particular quality or reaction) from within oneself,” to “authoritatively or urgently call on (someone) to be present,” to call an image to mind.”
To me, living in faith is like that, too:
Calling on the One who summoned us forth into life to summon us into deeper awareness of the presence of the Holy in the everyday
Bringing to the surface what is unconsciously active and perhaps even holding us back from living abundantly
Trusting that what God is drawing forth in us to be worked with, whether an image, a relationship block, vocational challenges, or more, is never greater than our capacity to grow through it with the help of our Divine Guide
